The story of a photographer
If anyone ever called me a photographer, I got a little bit uneasy. Sure I owned an "expensive" camera, I knew how to attach and change lenses, and I knew my way around some editing software (this one took some practice). I've spent many years off and on with how much time I dedicated to taking pictures. Eventually I found solace and peace in taking photos. It relaxed me and gave me a creative outlet that I was desperate to hone. So many years later, I'm comfortable with that title: Photographer.
Eventually I got to a point where I trusted myself to take payment for my effort. This was actually much harder than you may think. It was through the encouragement of friends and their stubborn refusal to let me go uncompensated that eased me into making photography a professional endeavor. To them I am grateful.
I'm full time Air Force and much prefer being a bit artsy than making you pose awkwardly in a studio (no Sears Portraits here), I don't have the time for anything less. And for this reason, I'm choosy with who I shoot. The more willing you are to go outside the box, the better your shoot will go. I'm excited to share in your lives and adventures. Let's take some pictures!
